We have two almost identical 2007
Kawasaki ZX14 Special Addition’s
07 ZX14 has been lowered, stretched w/extensions.
tied down front end and we revalved the stock rear shock w/heavier oil – nice “Drag Shock” stays down real
good, can be done for $250, instead of buy a Drag Shock for anywhere from $1,200 - $2,500. The flies have been removed, K&N
Air filter, Full Muzzy Exhaust System, PCIII w/Hub and Secondary Maps, Air Shift / Engine Kill, Automatic Electronic Nitrous
System, NOS bottle is out in the open for everyone to see. 3 over Vortex rear sprocket (I ride my bike to the drags, race
and then ride it home). Kind of bumpy with a Glass Drag Seat, but my bike has never been on a trailer. Have tried all kinds
of tires M/T Street Slicks but I have actually run my best times on Shinko 300 Ultra Soft’s at 9 lbs. My 14 is my daily
commuter, I have over 45K miles on my 14 and still holds its own at the Drags, Irwindale and California (Fontana). I run 17lbs
on the street just in case someone thinks they are fast. I run in the 5’s in the 1/8 mile (Irwindale) on a street tire,
lowest 60 foot was 1.39 but normally in the low 1.4’s, my fastest mph at Irwindale was 129.7 mph pretty killer for a
1/8 mile on a street tire. Lon set my bike up with the performance stuff and Eddie is my mechanic for valve adjustments and
has the other ZX14. He has Phillip ride his bike at the Drags. The two bikes are almost identical except for a few changes
he runs way lower gears and has a new one piece extended control arm. He runs Sinko's Drag tires. Anyhow Lon’s best
time at Irwindale 1/8 mile was ET of 5.77 @ 124mph, 60 foot was 1.42. Runs 8’s in the ¼ mile, again on a street
tire and no wheelie bar!
are distributors for Power Commander and other performance parts. We have spent thousands on fuel mapping on Dyno’s.
Now we have our own Dyno. Go to up grades to see pictures and prices, if you’re interested in anything we have to offer.
